Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you purchase access to BillNegotiator, we collect your email address via Stripe to verify your purchase. We do not collect your name, address, or payment details — those are handled directly by Stripe.

When you upload a bill for analysis, the file is transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. We do not store, retain, or log the contents of your bills. The file is sent to Claude and the response is returned to you; nothing is written to any database on our end.

2. How Your Bill Data Is Used

Your bill image or PDF is sent directly to the Claude API (operated by Anthropic, Inc.) for analysis. Anthropic may process this data in accordance with their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

We do not store your bill data. Once the analysis is complete and returned to your browser, no copy of your bill remains on our servers.

3. Email Address

Your email address is stored in Vercel Edge Config solely to verify your purchase. We do not use your email for marketing, share it with third parties, or store any additional personal data alongside it.

4. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your credit card information. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy for details on how your payment data is handled.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to remember your verified email between sessions on the same device. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
